The Surgical Operating Theatre

The backbone of Al -Seef Hospital is the surgical operating theatre which consists of 8 surgical operating rooms fully equipped with the most sophisticated surgical and anesthesia equipments serving the whole range of surgical specialties. Two theatres are fully dedicated to serve obstetric surgical procedures,while a separate theatre is devoted for IVF service. The Intensive Care Unit is designed with 6 beds that are equipped with sophisticated monitoring systems and the most advanced artificial ventilation support equipments to serve critically ill patients.

Our high-tech OT facility incorporates the most advanced Clinical Information Systems in the Information Technology field: GE OR Management System (Opera), GE Centricity Anesthesia System, and GE Centricity Critical Care System that delivers information at the center of care to help achieve more effective and efficient decisions on behalf of patients and providers and to minimize the human error to the minimum in patients’ filing and recordings

We are pioneers in providing anesthesia services outside the main OT using our mobile anesthesia workstations run by our competent anesthesia team to deliver the safest anesthesia medical service on the spot in the dental chair, Dermatology and Radiology departments or wherever it’s needed.
