The specialized work of the Orthopedic Surgery Department is carried out by highly qualified consultants and specialists who are well-trained in musculoskeletal physiology, pathology, biomechanics, and other related sciences, and this group of specialists includes doctors from diverse nationalities - both Arabs and Westerners.

SCOPE OF SERVICE
Members of the department embrace extensive experience in providing medical treatment to most orthopedic cases such as sports injuries, shoulder surgery, knee surgery and joint replacement, osteoarthritis, back and spine disorders, post-traumatic skeletal problems, bone vascular necrosis and osteoporosis, while applying minimal invasive surgery.
Covering both in and out-patients, the scope of work of the Orthopedic Surgery Department encompasses the following domains:

- Arthroplasty (joint replacement) minimally invasive and reconstructive surgery.
- Sports medicine and arthroscopy.

- Arthroscopic surgery using scope (small "key hole" wound, no visible scarring).
- Sport related injuries (ligaments, shoulder, knee, ankle, wrist, meniscus…).
- Trauma and fracture surgery with minimally invasive, spearing muscle technique.
- The latest in arthroscopic shoulder surgery (dislocation, rotator cuff tear, acromioplasty...).
- Advanced arthroscopy surgery for knee, ankle, wrist (anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction…).
- Diagnosis and treatment of spinal pain, osteoarthritis, and osteoporosis.
